A video leaked onto Youtube has sparked rumors about handset manufacturer HTC working on an impressive 16-megapixel smartphone. Although HTC is not confirming the rumors, the video’s story-board styled ad-spot also describes the phone as featuring duel LED flashes.

If released to the public, this HTC concept would be the highest megapixel phone produced. Currently, the highest megapixel ratings belong to Nokia’s recently announced N8 symbian phone, which includes a 12-megapixel camera sensor, and Altek’s Leo which has 14-megapixels. Read More→

April 17, 2011 - At the MIX11 conference Wednesday, Microsoft unveiled the upcoming version of their Windows Phone OS – codenamed Mango. The announcement included a variety of exciting new platform features including multitasking and augmented reality.

With the new update, app developers will soon have more access to the motion sensor library, camera, and device-to-device file transfer capabilities. The update is also centered on speedier performance in app switching, improved tomb-stoning, app multitasking, and Internet Explorer 9.

Microsoft presented a test-drive of the updates by giving attendees a sneak peek into several popular next-gen apps from Amazon Shopping, Kik Messenger, Spotify, and Skype.
