It’s a virtual gallery! It’s a social networking site! It’s an iPad and iPhone app! Okay, that might be a little over the top but it is all that. What, you ask? It’s Tamron’s new My Photo Exhibits beta.

Here is how it works…You sign up for a free account, which is quick and simple. After you confirm your email address you can begin building galleries using your photos. The galleries are designed to look like a real art gallery. You can select the ceiling, floor, walls, and furniture, then hang your photos on the wall. It’s a great way to display your photos!

Now the social networking part. You can view other galleries, follow other photographers, and enjoy the benefits of being part of a photographic community. And if you’re like my wife you can paint and redecorate every day if you’d like. (Did I really say that?)

Oh, did I mention that there is an iPad and iPhone app with which you can view galleries? This one is definitely worth checking out! When you do, check out my galleries. It’s easy. Just search “manualDSLR” in the “Search Exhibits” box.

This one is a keeper! All the best…Mike
