Give it Your Best Shot – Art and Joy of Wood

The Art and Joy of Wood Photography Competition is open to all photographers over 18 world-wide. Entries should showcase the character of wood as well as its vital importance in our lives. There are three categories to enter: living with wood, working with wood and wood as never seen before. The three best entries overall will win a trip to Bangalore to be part of the International Conference and Exhibition on the Art and Joy of Wood. Entries are due by July 15. Good luck!

I am an amateur photographer who enjoys photographing a variety of subjects. There is no certain look to my portfolio. It varies from buildings, to clouds, nature and random objects. If I find something to be interesting, you can bet that I will try to photograph it.
I have been taking photos for as long as I can remember. But, late 2009 is when I started to really act on my passion. I carry a camera with me everywhere I go so that I don’t ever miss an opportunity to capture something amazing.
