Give it Your Best Shot – Call for Times Square Photos

This call for photos is not a contest, but it is still an awesome opportunity. The New-York Historical Society is looking for photos that were taken in Times Square between November 21, 2010 and March 31, 2011. The photographs submitted will be held indefinitely in a searchable database. Photos can be exterior architectural photographs, outdoor portraits, group snapshots, photographs depicting billboards and advertisements, and interior images of notable area buildings. Be part of history and contribute to the call for Times Square photos.

I am an amateur photographer who enjoys photographing a variety of subjects. There is no certain look to my portfolio. It varies from buildings, to clouds, nature and random objects. If I find something to be interesting, you can bet that I will try to photograph it.
I have been taking photos for as long as I can remember. But, late 2009 is when I started to really act on my passion. I carry a camera with me everywhere I go so that I don’t ever miss an opportunity to capture something amazing.
