Give it Your Best Shot – I Heart Snow

Winter is hitting many of us pretty hard. Instead of sitting inside by a cozy fire, get outside, shiver and snap some photos! Feel free to share your favorite people, places and pets, just share them covered in snow for the I Heart Snow photo contest. Photos must have been taken this winter (after Dec 22, 2010) and must be submitted by the deadline March 19, 2011. Entrants can submit up to five pictures daily. A release is required for pictures that are entered where a person is recognizable. The people’s choice winner will get an Olympus Tough 8010 digital camera. Judge’s choice will be awarded a Flip HD video camera. Good luck!

I am an amateur photographer who enjoys photographing a variety of subjects. There is no certain look to my portfolio. It varies from buildings, to clouds, nature and random objects. If I find something to be interesting, you can bet that I will try to photograph it.
I have been taking photos for as long as I can remember. But, late 2009 is when I started to really act on my passion. I carry a camera with me everywhere I go so that I don’t ever miss an opportunity to capture something amazing.
