Give it Your Best Shot – National Cherry Blossom Photo Contest

n is finally here! This is a follow up to a previous article now that the entry information has been announced. There are three categories in this contest: Landscape, People and Festivities. Photos must have been taken no sooner than February 1, 2009 and must incorporate the celebration of the cherry blossom. Winning images will be exhibited online and at the National Cherry Blossom Festival. Be sure to check out the website for all the official rules and to enter your photo. Good luck!

I am an amateur photographer who enjoys photographing a variety of subjects. There is no certain look to my portfolio. It varies from buildings, to clouds, nature and random objects. If I find something to be interesting, you can bet that I will try to photograph it.
I have been taking photos for as long as I can remember. But, late 2009 is when I started to really act on my passion. I carry a camera with me everywhere I go so that I don’t ever miss an opportunity to capture something amazing.
