Give it Your Best Shot – One Shot: The Landscape

Tell a story with just one shot in the One Shot: The Landscape International Photography Awards 2nd Annual Mini Competition. There are three categories to enter: past, present and future. The winner of each category will get a $1,000 prize. Entry fees vary depending on the level at which you enter. For this contest, do your best to capture the landscape that surrounds us. Whether your subject is the rural countryside or an urban oasis, make your work tell the story of the past, present or future.

I am an amateur photographer who enjoys photographing a variety of subjects. There is no certain look to my portfolio. It varies from buildings, to clouds, nature and random objects. If I find something to be interesting, you can bet that I will try to photograph it.
I have been taking photos for as long as I can remember. But, late 2009 is when I started to really act on my passion. I carry a camera with me everywhere I go so that I don’t ever miss an opportunity to capture something amazing.
