The International Street Photography Award is searching for the best street photographer in the world.  Entrants can submit 5 to 8 photos for this contest.  There are no subcategories to enter, just an open category to show what you find on the street.  Check out the definition of street photography if you aren’t sure exactly what the contest is looking for. Photographers around the world are encouraged to enter and work can be up to five years old. Be spontaneous and be creative and you might win the grand prize, a trip to the street photography exhibition launch and awards ceremony in London!

Be sure to check out our Calendar of Events to keep track of photo contests and deadline dates.

Avery ChantosI am an amateur photographer who enjoys photographing a variety of subjects. There is no certain look to my portfolio. It varies from buildings, to clouds, nature and random objects. If I find something to be interesting, you can bet that I will try to photograph it.

I have been taking photos for as long as I can remember. But, late 2009 is when I started to really act on my passion. I carry a camera with me everywhere I go so that I don’t ever miss an opportunity to capture something amazing.
