Give it Your Best Shot – Trees

The 2011 “Trees” Photography and Poetry Competition is being offered by he Wildling Art Museum. The goal of the contest is to promote the preservation of wilderness areas through art. Entries are limited to 5 per person and there is an entry fee of $10 per entry. First place will receive a prize of $250. All winning entries will be displayed at the museum June 1 through July 4, 2011. Please be aware that this contest is only open to permanent residents of California.

I am an amateur photographer who enjoys photographing a variety of subjects. There is no certain look to my portfolio. It varies from buildings, to clouds, nature and random objects. If I find something to be interesting, you can bet that I will try to photograph it.
I have been taking photos for as long as I can remember. But, late 2009 is when I started to really act on my passion. I carry a camera with me everywhere I go so that I don’t ever miss an opportunity to capture something amazing.
