In addition, Pictage’s visual identity will be officially introduced to the industry at the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) 2010 Convention and Trade Show, March 4-11, 2010, at the MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas, Nev. Pictage will continue the rebranding effort across other marketing and product assets in the coming months.
The comprehensive initiative comes at a significant juncture for Pictage as it celebrates the successful completion of its first decade of operations, and as it prepares to embark on a new and exciting phase of business expansion and product development. In just the past 12 months, as a result of a newly-installed, highly-energized senior management team, Pictage has reached over 8,600 active professional photographer customer accounts, the most ever; produced its largest one-day retail sales figure ever, over $400,000 in products and services; and introduced new solutions and offerings that have become valued and utilized by members.

Developed in conjunction with The Artime Group, Inc., a Pasadena, Calif.-based advertising, branding, and interactive agency, the new Pictage corporate brand identity features a stylized, lower-case version of the company’s name in metallic gray and museo font. The focus of the new brand centers on the “i” in Pictage, which is capped with a distinctive, overlapping, and transparent array of four rounded colored blocks in cyan, magenta, yellow, and green. The collection of multi-colored squares will serve as the foundation for a robust, flexible suite of corporate, product, and service brands – in full color, black and white, and grayscale, and on multiple backgrounds – that will be integrated into all Pictage marketing and communications activities. The result is a stylish, recognizable, and highly-versatile brand identity which more effectively captures Pictage’s many unique characteristics.
The new Pictage corporate brand identity celebrates uniqueness, community, and collaboration. The Artime Group developed a strong, solid engaging mark that conveys Pictage’s mission and values, and highlights the company’s commitment to community and collaboration. The burst of colored squares conveys both the unique vision and perspectives of individual photographers, and the positive influence that members have upon each other.
