Send Customized Postcards from Your iPhone with Postagram

Our oldest son was in Chicago on business recently (that’s making me feel old), and he sent us a postcard. Here’s the neat part, it was a postcard of him at the Willis Tower. Thanks to an app called Postagram, he was able to send us a personalized postcard direct from his iPhone.

So here is the scoop… You download the Postagram application and create an account. The application is free and each personalized postcard is $1.99. Currently, however, postcards are on sale for 99 cents each. It is as easy as using a photo from your album, Instagram, or Facebook. You move and scale it to a square shape. You can select a profile photo that will show up on your postcards, and write a personalized message.

You then select one or more recipients and place your order. You will see a preview of your Postagram and will be given the opportunity to make any changes before ordering. The photo is perforated so that it pops out of the postcard. The postcard you see in this post is currently hanging on our refrigerator.

While my wife and I both do Instagram, it is always nice to receive a real printed postcard in the mail. Think how great this is for grandparents who don’t do Instagram, Twitter, and/or Facebook.

This is an easy, cool and inexpensive way to print your photos and share them with others. Be sure to check this one out for the next time you want to send a print to someone.

All the best…Mike
