(TOKYO:7740), will release another advance in the company’s pursuit of high-resolution images in the telephoto lens category. Their new 70-300 mm F/4-5.6 telephoto zoom lens features image stabilization and an ultrasonic auto-focus drive. The SP 70-300 mm F/4-5.6 Di VC USD (model A005) high-resolution DSLR lens is engineered for a Nikon mount, with compatibility for Canon and Sony mounts to follow. While designed for digital SLR cameras, the SP 70-300 mm F/4-5.6 Di VC USD (Model A005) can be used with both full-frame sensor and AF 35 mm cameras having a zoom range of
70-300 mm, and as well with APS-C sensor cameras where the angle of view changes the zoom to
109-465 mm.

The advanced optical design features LD (low dispersion) and XLD lens elements made from specialized materials to prevent chromatic aberration. Coupled with Tamron’s VC image stabilization system, the lens offers full time manual focus at your fingertips, better balance, consistent length and internal focusing.
