Their new 70-300 mm F/4-5.6 telephoto zoom lens features image stabilization and an ultrasonic auto-focus drive. The SP 70-300 mm F/4-5.6 Di VC USD (model A005) high-resolution DSLR lens is engineered for a Nikon mount, with compatibility for Canon and Sony mounts to follow. While designed for digital SLR cameras, the SP 70-300 mm F/4-5.6 Di VC USD (Model A005) can be used with both full-frame sensor and AF 35 mm cameras having a zoom range of
70-300 mm, and as well with APS-C sensor cameras where the angle of view changes the zoom to
109-465 mm.
With specialized elements including an XLD (extra low dispersion) lens whose uncompromising countermeasures reduce ghosting and flare, and Tamron’s fast focusing USD, the SP 70-300 mm F4-5.6 Di VC USD (Model A005) lens is optimized for digital cameras in the 70-300 mm class.
