LensFlare 35 is a photography podcast brought to you by by Dave Warner. This week we’re going to talk to Fine Art, Nature and Portrait Photographer Martin Bailey.

Martin is a Tokyo based nature, wildlife and portrait photographer. He has a weekly photography Podcast, as well as a photography forum and blog. Martin also conducts popular wildlife and landscape photography workshops and is a proud member of the X-Rite Coloratti.

Martin’s work has been published by Popular Photography Magazine, Korean Air, Creation Durable (Paris) and Light of Consciousness Magazine, among others. He was included in one of the “30 Most Influential Photographers of The Decade” lists and now is my special guest on LensFlare35.

In this episode, Martin talks about how a Brit ended up in Japan, going forward as a full-time photographer, his podcasting, a photography iPhone app that he has created, why he has decided to branch out into portraiture, how he successfully mixes fine art, nature and portrait photography and much more.
