Lowel-Light Mfg., Inc. announced at The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) trade show this week three new products that are very interesting.
The first is the Lowel SoftCore™, a revolutionary fluorescent system for soft boxes. The compact fixture folds out to attach to a stand or boom, and accepts up to three lampheads. Using Lowel’s new 80 Watt fluorescent lamps, SoftCore delivers a soft constant source of daylight color, with a 90+ C.R.I. (color rendering index) that will accurately render all colors in a shot.
The Lowel Blender™ is an intuitive LED lighting system for daylight, tungsten or in-between. You can mix twin array’s of high C.R.I. The Blender allows for a perfect mix of light for a more natural look. The Lowel Blender comes with a selection of front diffusers for softening and diffusing the blended output.
The Lowel Trio™ is a fluorescent system for studio quality lighting on location.
