Aug 23, 2009 – Samsung announced their new point-and-shoot model, the CL65. While it’s 12.2 MP CCD, 5x optical zoom, 3.5” LCD touch-screen and 720p HD video recording are all nice features, what really makes this camera stand out is its built-in geo-tagging technology, Bluetooth 2.0, DLNA compatibility and Wi-Fi connectivity options. Now you can shoot an image, tag it with time and location data in the EXIF file, and upload using Bluetooth supported mobile phones or a Wi-Fi connection to your favorite social media sharing sites. You can even share your photos by connect wirelessly to your supported HDTV using DLNA. The CL65 will be available in September for an estimated selling price of $399.99. So if you’ve been looking for an easy-to-use point-and-shoot with built in geo-tagging, the CL65 may be a nice alternative to the Nikon P6000.
