Jan 2, 2010 – I’m hesitant to even mention this iPhone app because I’m afraid it may fall victim to vaporware, but if the developer can make it happen, it will be a killer app! The name of the app is Liquid Scale from a company called Savoy Software out of Germany. The app will allow you to do content-aware scaling of images similar to Photoshop but right on your iPhone. Important parts of the images are automatically detected or you can manually select parts of the image to keep or remove, then Liquid Scale will take care of the rest. The demo on their website looks really cool, but the “Coming Soon” copy has been there since November 13th. If you’re curious, check out the link to their site and I’ll keep you posted if the app ever becomes a reality.
