We’re Giving Away a Lens Mug a Day!

You’ve probably seen these online. Canon of Canada produced a Special Edition Collector thermal travel mug that resembled a Canon EF 70-200mm L Zoom Lens. They were given out at the Winter Olympics as a promotional gift for the press. Because they were so unique they quickly found their way on to the internet creating a ton of buzz. Of course many of them ended up on ebay and were selling for $150 and up.

Due to their popularity, Canon authorized a limited run of the mugs that would only be sold through Canadian photo retailers. We were able to get our hands on a few of them and are giving them away on our Facebook Page.

We’re giving away a Lens Mug a day for five (5) days starting Monday, January 10th through Friday, January 14th. Entering the CurrentPhotographer.com Canon Lens Mug Giveaway is easy. This giveaway is only open to U.S. residents 18 years and older as of January 4, 2011. Sorry, there are so many legal issues and details to take care of when creating an international promotion that it was just not possible for this one. Hopefully we’ll be able to do something really cool for the rest of our community in the near future. 😉
