Okay! I can’t help it. If it’s an iPhone app that will let me do some type of vintage effect or make retro-cool pics, I just can’t resist. Such is the case for the TtV Camera Basic app by Taplayer. It’s not that this app is all that unique. It is, in fact, about as predicable as an episode of Bones (the TV show, which my wife loves and I love to make fun of). But sometimes predictable is cool. Ever heard of Old Faithful…
So here’s the deal. The free version gives you a choice of three main effects, with a Black and White and Sepia option to each. Simple enough. You select your effect, pick your subject, and shoot. You can use the phone’s “flash” in a constant “on” position and you can use either the front or back camera. But you don’t need me to show you how. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so check out the 7,000-word gallery and see if you could have fun with this little jewel…
It’s fun. It’s cool. It’s free. Enough said? I think so…MK
