Feb 7, 2010 – Since the announcement of the iPad last week I’ve been thinking how great that device would be as a portable digital portfolio. I came across a new iPhone app that may serve that purpose very well called TapFolio. I would assume since the iPad SDK was also released, the creators of TapFolio will be hard at work modifying the code to work on that device as well.
TapFolio is an app that currently runs on the iPhone and iPod touch that allows you to manage and create a portfolio of work that’s quickly and easily accessible. It allows you to impress clients with an interactive and aesthetic showcase of your artwork with a single tap.
Clients can browse through your work using the elegant thumbnail slider, and select any image to view in full screen mode. Zoom in or out with the simple two finger pinch to see the full detail of your images.
Working as a creative in a competitive field, it’s important to always be ready to impress a potential client, sometimes you’ll meet them in the most unexpected of places. TapFolio allows you to keep a portfolio at your fingertips using your iPhone or iPod Touch. It can help you increase your exposure and expand your business.
