If you like panos like I like panos, you will love Dermandar. The beauty of the Dermandar iPhone app is in its simplicity. If you can keep your phone level and turn counterclockwise, you can make a seamless pano with Dermandar. It is as simple as this. Just hold your phone level, click the camera icon, and turn counterclockwise until the two little swooshy-looking things come together and turn green. If you have more to capture, then you are ready to turn again. Repeat until you are finished or until you have gone 360 degrees and the app will tell you to stop.
This is a free app, so the price is right. You may view your pano in the app or online at http://www.dermandar.com. In addition, you may save the pano to your camera roll, but the perspective may not be like you want it. My oldest son was at a U2 concert in Nashville Friday night. I wish I had asked him to try this app out for me. But I didn’t think to. So instead, I took a pano of my front yard. Not quite as exciting. Sorry.

All the best…Mike
