Canon EOS 5D Mark II Logo

March 19, 2010 – If you’re a 5D Mark II shooter and upgraded to the 2.0.3 firmware for the added video and audio capabilities, then you will want to update to the just release 2.0.4 version. Apparently there was a phenomenon in which the manual recording settings made in C1/C2/C3 were changed and sound could not be recorded if manual sound recording was used in the C1/C2/C3 settings and the camera was subsequently turned off (or if Auto Power Off was activated). This did not occur in modes other than C1/C2/C3. Version 2.0.4 fixes this issue and also adds the other updates listed below: Read More→
