Aug 29, 2009 – New this week is an upgrade of onOne Software”s DSLR Camera Remote iPhone and iTouch application to version 1.1. The application allows the photographer to come out from behind the camera and interact with their subjects while still being able to control the cameras operations remotely. In addition to adding support for Nikon DSLRs and the Canon T1i/500D it also allows for burst shooting for sports photography, auto bracketing for HDR photography, auto focus during LiveView and all previous features with an improved interface. There’s also support for Adobe Lightroom’s Auto-Import feature.
DSLR Camera Remote v1.1 is a free update to owners of v1.0. For first time users the Lite version costs just a $1.99 and the professional version costs $19.99. Both versions are available now through the Apple iTunes store. You’ll also need to download the free application that runs on your compatible Mac or Windows machine. This is required to communicate between the iPhone and the supported camera connected via USB or Firewire to a Wi-Fi enabled computer. Read More→
